全国大学生英语竞赛是高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会和高等学校大学外语教学研究会组织的全国唯一一个考查大学生英语综合能力的竞赛活动。

一、考试目的

全国大学生英语竞赛,简称NECCS,是高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会和高等学校大学外语教学研究会组织的全国唯一一个考查大学生英语综合能力的竞赛活动。

旨在配合教育部高等教育教学水平评估工作,贯彻落实教育部关于大学英语教学**和考试**精神,激发广大学生学习英语的兴趣,促进大学生英语水平的全面提高,选拔并奖励大学英语学习成绩优秀的大学生。

二、考试题型

1、听力理解题

听力理解题共分为A、B、C、D四个部分,共计30道小题,每小题计1分,总分为30分。A为听短对话对话选择,B为听长对话选择,C为听短对话选择表述内容,D为听段落文章填空。

2、单项选择题

单项选择题由15道四选一的选择题组成,主要考查各类别参赛者在本类别内英语学习中所应掌握的词汇及语法知识,以及对参赛者对于英语母语国家基本文化知识进行考查。包括A词汇语法选择题,B风俗文化选择题。

3、完形填空题

完形填空试题由一个英文篇章组成,共包含10道小题,每小题计1分,总分为10分。本部分赛题主要考查参赛者的语篇分析和理解能力、词汇知识和词汇运用能力。

4、阅读理解题

阅读理解题在本竞赛笔试中所占比例较重,由四个英文篇章组成,共包含20道小题,总分为35分。

5、翻译题

翻译试题分为英译汉和汉译英两个部分,共6道题,共计15分。本部分参赛者须根据提示运用自己的英语语法、句法和词汇知识将所给汉语句子翻译成地道的英文句子。

6、改错题

短文改错由一个英语篇章构成,共10道小题,每小题1分,共计10分。改错类型主要有换词、添词、删词及识别正确句子等。此类赛题主要考查参赛者的英语基础知识及综合辨识能力

7、智力测试题
